Bisulfite Sequencing
TACGen offers Bisulfite Sequencing services to study methylation status of select genomic regions. Sodium bisulfite is use to treat genomic DNA. Unmethylated cytosines were deaminated to uracils and methylated cytosines remain unchanged. The converted DNA is amplified by PCR and then sequenced.
