TACGen provides endotoxin free (<0.1 EU/µg DNA) plasmid DNA preparation for cell transfection
Accepted starting materials:
Bacteria colony or culture
Bacterial cells are lysed under alkaline conditions. The Endotoxin Removal Buffer is added to the filtered lysate and incubated on ice. The cleared lysate is then loaded onto the anion-exchange tip. After wash, RNA and proteins are removed. Ultrapure endo-free plasmid DNA is eluted in high-salt buffer. The DNA is concentrated and desalted by isopropanol precipitation and resuspended in endo-free TE buffer. DNA yields are up to 500 µg (Maxi-prep), 2.5 mg (Mega-prep), or 10 mg (Giga-prep). The purified DNA is suitable for transfection-grade applications.
